Instead, I invited different voices from hip-hop culture, including a journalist, a podcaster and even Driver, another publisher translating African-American books into French. On paper, we could call each other competitors. But when the entire category still needs more visibility, maybe fighting for your individual share matters less than making the whole market bigger.
