The robots are officially fighting back, and unfortunately they already appear to have the upper hand. This comedy podcast kicks off with the viral video of Frankie LaPenna stepping into a cage with a six-foot humanoid robot that throws punches, lands kicks and sends him flying across the mat. Frankie even reportedly broke his hand fighting the thing, which feels like a pretty solid indication that maybe we should stop giving robots combat training.

Naturally, the crew immediately wonders whether robot fighting is the future of entertainment, warfare or both. Rizz would watch robots fight between UFC matches. He’d probably gamble on them, too. Lern is already worried about humanoids destroying marriages. We’re handling the technological revolution beautifully.

Then Crap on Celebrities brings plenty of music chaos, including Turnstile news, Ella Langley breaking a major chart record, the debate over whether artists eventually hate playing their biggest hits, a George Michael tribute, Lionel Richie’s health update and James Hetfield explaining why Tony Iommi remains such a massive influence on Metallica.

Things get considerably messier when this comedy podcast dives into drama surrounding Dolly Parton’s estate. Her nephew Brian Seaver — the same person who announced her death — has reportedly been removed from several properties after spending decades overseeing operations and security. Allegations start flying, restraining orders enter the conversation, and suddenly everyone is guessing how much Dolly’s entire estate might actually be worth.

The crew also gets into Jeff Garlin’s comments about The Goldbergs, a new Darkwing Duck series, HBO’s Lanterns and an upcoming Norm Macdonald documentary before Lern launches a game exposing everybody’s knowledge of rock stars’ real names.

Alice Cooper? Easy. David Bowie? Sure. Elton John? Got it. But then Billy Idol, Eddie Vedder, Iggy Pop, Joni Mitchell, Nikki Sixx and Stevie Wonder start showing up under the names their mothers actually gave them, and everybody’s confidence begins collapsing in real time.

Finally, Do It Bitch is ready to return with Metallica, Breaking Benjamin, Turnstile and Rafe Williams tickets on the line. Moon and Lern face King Scott and Rafe in the only game where wildly overestimating your coworker’s ability to name things in ten seconds is considered strategy.

Humanoid cage fights, rock-star aliases, celebrity chaos, Dolly drama and coworkers aggressively yelling “Do It, Bitch!” at each other for prizes — another completely future-proof comedy podcast from The Rizzuto Show.
