Born in Vermont, raised on Long Island, and shaped by years playing blues in Austin and Memphis, Jake has been part of the Sag Harbor American Music Festival since 2012. Jake talks about discovering blues through his family’s record collection, his years gigging on Beale Street, the Stax‑influenced drummer who shaped his sound, moving back to Long Island to start a family, the evolution of the East End music scene, and more.
