After 5 years of silence, I am finally opening up about my 6 year journey at United Airlines. And let me be clear, it wasn't all bad. It has taken me a long time to feel brave enough to speak my truth, but I know that by me taking this step, it will help someone else who may face or has faced a similar situation in their own life. Many people are treated unfairly in the workplace daily, but few feel brave enough to speak up. My hope is to be able to tell my story with truth and conviction so that if a moment ever comes where you have to choose between a corporate company or yourself, you will ALWAYS choose you.

I also refuse to let how it ended for me tarnish the years of laughs, travel, joy, and incredible memories I made. I will always hold those close to my heart. I know the difference I made and that's what matters most to me. My legacy will always be every single life I have touched. I hope this episode will be a lesson for every company to say what you mean and mean what you say, to stand on business. No one likes fake energy.
