- Wallet found on August 14, 2003, with six credit and membership cards face-up and the wallet dry on wet concrete.
- Harvey Murphy was 62 years old, taught shop for 31 years, last confirmed seen when he used his debit card at 2:22 PM on August 8, 2003.
- A debit-card transaction at 4:47 PM the same day occurred at a gas station on Route Nine, 16 miles from Harvey’s home, amount $31.
- Harvey’s truck seat was set three inches farther back than mechanic Roy Stanwick’s recorded preferred position, indicating a taller driver.
- In 2001, Meridian Air logs recorded a callback visit on August 3 with a technician named Todd Brooks who did not exist on payroll; a white utility van with a magnetic sign was seen at Dennis Foard’s house on August 5.
