The single fresh white carnation on the dashboard was a detail that haunted witnesses and sat in evidence for sixteen years; there was no flower shop within fourteen miles and the car was found 2.5 miles the wrong way down Calloway Road - so who placed it there, and why? What connection ties a nursery at the north end of Calloway Road to a dead woman found facing the opposite direction?
In this episode, we present the sequence of events, timelines, and evidence surrounding Marcia Larsen's disappearance and death, and how family advocacy and advances in DNA and cold-case work reopened the file to ask the question that was missed for years: could the road itself point to the answer?
Person: Marcia Larsen
Date: February 7, 1993
