Case: Missing person turned captivity rescue
- Peggy left her second-floor apartment at 5:40 p.m. wearing a dark green parka and carrying a canvas tote.
- A Kellner Supply camera captured her between 5:47 and 5:49 p.m.; the next camera two blocks east recorded nothing.
- The technician who visited Kellner Supply that afternoon signed in at 3:10 p.m. and out at 4:50 p.m. using the contractor name Briar Mechanical, which later denied the visit.
- The outbuilding holding Peggy measured 12 feet by 14 feet, contained a cot, a propane space heater, and a five-gallon water jug, and was padlocked from the outside.
- On day three of captivity Peggy wrote detailed location clues on a strip of paper, sealed it in an empty orange prescription bottle, and threw it through a four-inch-high window slit on February 9.
