John Dalton is credited with discovering atomic theory in 1808.He was 2600 years late.In approximately 600 BCE, on a dusty road near what is now Dwaraka in Gujarat, a philosopher named Kanada was eating grain and thinking about division. He kept breaking the grain into smaller and smaller pieces. And at some point he reached a theoretical limit.
