The CBD starts at 9.2°C and is heading for a pleasant top of 21°C, while Parramatta begins cooler at 7.4°C before reaching 20°C. Over in Bondi, it’s a milder start at 11.4°C, also climbing to around 20°C. On the roads, commuters are urged to allow extra time in a few spots. Delays are affecting the Princes Highway southbound at Farnell Avenue in Loftus after a two-car crash, with one lane impacted. There’s also a car breakdown on the M4 westbound past Cumberland Highway at Greystanes, plus lingering congestion near Rozelle following an earlier bus breakdown on the Western Distributor approaching the Anzac Bridge. For public transport users, Sydney Trains and Metro are running normally, with no major disruptions reported. Looking ahead to the weekend, buses will replace trains between Olympic Park and Lidcombe on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 July, running approximately every 30 minutes.
