Taken from the classic book Sorathi Geet Kathao by the legendary writer Zaverchand Meghani, the story is about Khymero, a handsome young village boy, and Lodhan, a beautiful traveler on a pilgrimage to Dwarka who had once sworn never to marry. When they cross paths, their silent bond breaks all vows. Knowing she must continue her journey, Lodhan promises to return to him in just eight days. But the agony of waiting becomes too heavy for Khymero, and his heart gives away before she can return. When Lodhan finally comes back only to find a memorial stone (Khambhi) in his place, her grief knows no bounds. This Jalso Production features moving folk couplets (Duhas) and tells a simple, emotional story of a promise kept beyond the grave.
