Reuben shares how his journey began in primary school through a local street dance club, before stepping away and later rediscovering his passion at university. From training in London and Manchester to performing and competing with his team, he reflects on how hip hop has evolved from a hobby into something that shapes how he sees himself and the world around him.

Lily and Reuben discuss the role of dance as a tool for self-expression and confidence, the importance of community in helping young people grow, and the realities of navigating stigma around dance as a young man. Reuben also shares insights from his leadership experience, supporting others to find their place within the community and watching their confidence grow.

This episode is a reminder that passion can be a powerful way to connect with yourself and others, and sometimes, all it takes is giving something new a try to discover what truly moves you.
