A proposito di questo titolo
In this episode of the Practiceology™ Podcast, I spoke to with Trystan Conway to discuss the real-world challenges and strategies for allied health businesses dealing with ongoing reforms in the NDIS and aged care sectors.
Here are my top three takeaways for anyone in allied health or government-funded service delivery:
🔹 Proactive beats reactive
Too many practices put their head in the sand when it comes to regulatory changes. Instead, model out worst-case scenarios and have a plan—hoping things will sort themselves out is not a strategy.
🔹 Focus on what you can control
Government funding changes and reforms are highly emotive and often outside your control. Stay grounded by focusing on what you can influence: your business structure, your value proposition, and your internal processes.
🔹 Diversification is key
Don’t put all your eggs in one basket. Having all your revenue tied to a single funding stream (like NDIS paediatrics) is risky. Explore ways to diversify your services or client base to better weather any future upheaval.
