Saint George’s courage and miracles inspired many to embrace Christianity, even as he faced imprisonment, torture, and ultimately martyrdom. His story includes the famous miracle of slaying a dragon-like serpent, symbolizing his victory over evil. Saint George’s legacy continues as a protector and patron, especially in Russia, where his image became a symbol of faith and courage.
