If you’ve ever felt anxiety, overwhelm, or tense… there is a good chance your thoughts were anchored in a shifting sea of the world’s identity metrics. Basing our identity on the ever changing world… we lose our footing and therefore, let go of the peace God gives us.
If we can make it a priority to slow down… and seek God first… we can anchor in the Identity He gives us… and then we are grounded and feel secure, even when the world around us shifts.
This episode shares the Bible story of Martha and Mary. The two sisters with different priorities. Neither are “wrong”, in their self… work is not bad… and serving is beautiful… but being present with the Lord is what Jesus wants with you first… and then you’ll be more at peace when you do go out to serve.
