While still deciding what to do with the Chinese gold, DTF is sent to the arcology of K’emk’emeláy̓ set in the space where the city of Vancouver, British Columbia once was. Their mission is to assess anomalous UI (Uploaded Intelligence) behavior and along the way, they discover a much more emotionally significant plot than first anticipated. There are also good times with Nicky Nukey, to be had. Although the group worries that perhaps he is getting too much screentime during his induction training as an oath-taker.
