Living in the high Sierra Nevada mountains of Colombia, the Arhuaco Mamos of Kadukwū Wamūke from Nu'maka have a message to transmit from the heart of the World. The Mamos are spiritual leaders and healers of the indigenous community. Having a deep spiritual connection to the earth, the Mamos are guardians of the ecosystem, maintaining the balance of the natural world through prayers, offerings, and rituals. Also joining the podcast will be Bunkwaney-Maku, the chosen voice and Ambassador of the Arhuaco Mamos. He translates Iku, the Mamos native tongue, into Spanish. Tiam Steele, the founder of Sun Nation, will be our translator of the sacred message from Spanish into English.
