The book Textile Designs Unveiled authored by Dr. Meenaketan Pattnaik, a design academician and researcher from temple city Bhubaneswar, India, is an important book on lifestyle and contains 90 selected textile designs must be kept in institutional libraries for references of students and researchers.
He wrote this book in the loving memory of late Lalatmohan Pattnaik, who was an influential designer in the handloom circle of India. He came in contact with a wide range of textile designs Lalatmohan made during his designer service in the Weavers' Service Centers of the Ministry of Handloom and Textiles, Government of India at Banaras, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, and many other centers. His impact on the weavers' community, textile merchants, and the design industry helped Meenaketan to author this book.
