Bayern finally lose their first match of the Bundesliga season at home to Augsburg, whilst Dortmund beat Union convincingly ahead of their showdown with Inter. It was a perfect weekend for Chivu's Inter who beat Pisa 6-2 whilst title rivals Napoli were thrashed 3-0 by Juve, with Roma and Milan sharing the points in the capital.

In Spain, Mbappe's panenka helped him set a European record, and Yamal's worldie in the rain kept Barca 1 point above Real in the La Liga title race. And in France, PSG go back on top via a Bradley Barcola goal and a 1-0 win at Auxerre, with Lens losing 3-1 in the Velodrome thanks to a debut goal from Arsenal's teenage loanee Ethan Nwaneri.
