October 17th, 2025 with the World Junior Heavyweight Championship on the line, at NWA Samhain 3, Alex Taylor defended his title against Spencer Slade. On January's 20th episode of POWERRR, the match aired, and a new champion was crowned. With the news out of the bag, we are proud to have the newly crowned NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion Spencer Slade on the Alliance Guys Podcast.
Slade has really carved out his reputation in the North East before making his way into the NWA. Along with making appearances in AEW and being a regular for the IWC.
Slade has had great success in competing for the IWC, he is currently the IWC Super Indy Champion. We will discuss with Slade how he chose the path of wrestling and how he got his start. The grind it takes to get to his level of success. Plus, wrestling with a hearing impairment, and how he was able to overcome this obstacle.
