Former Celtic Captain Jackie McNamara joins Andrew Milne to talk about the current state of play at Celtic and the return of his former manager Martin O’Neill to the Celtic dugout.

He tells us how he was surprised to see his former manager return to the Celtic dugout after Brendan Rodgers left but giving the Wilfried Nancy saga he was not surprised that he is back until the end of the season.

It is refreshing to hear a former player who really understands the Celtic fans frustration and why everyone at Celtic should be accountable for their actions from players, managers and board members.

He thinks Celtic should be looking towards a feeder club in another league to feed players and even managers into Celtic.

The Bhoy also looks back at his time at Celtic working under Tommy Burns, Stopping the 10 under Wim Jansen and the success under Martin O’Neill and quality of players at the club and across the city at Ibrox during that period.

Jackie also talks about losing his best players during his time as Dundee United Manager including his front 3 moving to Celtic in the January transfer window after they had beaten Celtic at Tannadice.
