The Consumer Price Index (CPI) for December was unchanged at 2.7% year over year which the market appears to be celebrating. Elsewhere President Trump has threatened 25% tariffs on any country doing business with Iran over the recent killing of protesters. Chief among Iran's business partners is China, with whom the US currently has an uneasy truce.
