- An appendix containing the final chapter, written five years after this edition was first published, presented free from all changes made after Yogananda’s death.
The complete 1946 edition is read by Yogananda's direct disciple, Swami Kriyananda. The bonus chapter, "The Years 1940-1951" added as an appendix to the original edition, is read by Nayaswami Jyotish.
