While her husband and sons are spending Easter break camping, Lori is perfectly happy to be left at home where she can take care of her toddler and attend the quilting bee that her elderly neighbor is holding in the old schoolhouse.
In fact, once at the schoolhouse, Lori is delighted to find herself seated next to her widowed neighbor and uses the opportunity to learn more about her life in the village of Old Cowerton - including finding out a startling secret about the her neighbor's first husband's death.
Setting out to learn more about what happened, Lori - with Aunt Dimity's advice in hand - discovers the truth about what residents of Old Cowerton refer to as the widow's curse - but the more she digs, the more horrifying it gets.

Incredible narrator for a wonderful book!
What made the experience of listening to Aunt Dimity and the Widow's Curse the most enjoyable?
The new narrator for the last two Aunt Dimity books is absolutely fabulous. Note well, Christina Moore only narrators the last two! The previous narrator was abysmal.
The books themselves are all excellent, but this latest one takes the cake. It's the best of the series so far.

Much better listening... stories of Aunt Dimity are wonderful and entertaining but
Stories of Aunt Dimity are always entertaining, but this narrator makes them better....thanks and I hope to try the recipe at the end...

A wonderful new narrator for Aunt Dimity Books!
Christina Moore did a wonderful job with this narration on one of Nancy Atherton’s famous “fairy tales for grown ups. I also love Atherton’s move back from life threatening mysteries to books that leave you feeling like there’s hope for humanity. The mystery that the characters were trying to solve was absorbing and fun, The simple ending message of friendship and kindness leaves me more inspired to make a simple difference in the world today than a news cast full of depressing disasters and the unkindnesses of the world. Thank you, Nancy and Christina for an uplift this week!

I love Aunt Dimity stories!
If you like an easy going mystery, this series is great. The characters are easy to love. I have enjoyed all of this series.

Cute Story
My sister recommended it because I love quilting friendship stories. Glad I read it. Not sure I'll ready the rest of the series, but enjoyed this one.

Finch village is a wonderful imaginary world.
loved it. wouldn't the world be a better place, if we lived like the people in Finch village.
