Once more w/feeling - the series is insulting.
I long for the days of 1-2yrs ago when when the daily read was given as a straight news read. This current version is read in such an annoying manner one can sense the sneering lip and arched eyebrow as the narrator reveals how the listener is expected to respond to the news article. Whats next, background music? Jaws theme superimposed on a report of a filibuster vote? Please, do it straight again and let the listener decide when to take umbrage.
