Sintesi dell'editore
With her career on the line and lives at stake, Marty must rely on her own moral compass, legal savvy, and gut instinct as she matches wits with a twisted killer. The system itself is on trial as Marty tries to serve justice, not merely the law.

Excellent tight story!
Great characters, great story, MANY plot twists, never trite. I now have to listen to all her books. Good narrator too.

Wonderful
This was the best book (audiobook) that I have heard in many months. It was my favorite during my time being quarantined during the 2020 Covid 19 pandemic. Thanks to all because I surely needed a good book “friend”.

Dissapointing ending
The book caught me up right from the beginning, but the ending was a bit pitiful and dissapointing. Could have used a few more hows and why. Maybe that could have added some length to it. Not the best read I have ever had.
