An Agonizingly Boring Book
I will be asking for my money back on this stinker... I kept waiting,.. and Waiting,.. and WAITING for something to HAPPEN... no charm, no pith,
no storyline worth five minutes of your time..... 😑 ugh

Too fast!
What disappointed you about Abracadaver?
The narration was too fast with not enough differentiation between voices. I felt like it was racing and I just couldn't follow.

Rattlin' Good Yarn
Would you consider the audio edition of Abracadaver to be better than the print version?
Yes, because hearing the very 'British' tones help set the scene.
What did you like best about this story?
The very funny and brilliantly descriptive writing.
What about John Kennedy Melling’s performance did you like?
The very good way he managed to deal with understatement and bewilderment in the characters.
Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I laughed - a lot.
Any additional comments?
This story was 'right up my street,' and reminded me of the humour prevalent in the 1960s when we had such droll comics as Tony Hancock.
