Mediocre
Not bad, but not good either. A very middling story, combined with a middling story and unremarkable voice acting.

A fun short story
I loved everything about this book.
the narration was perfect.
the cast was all true to their characters.
the background music and noises enhanced the story greatly.
if you're you only have a short amount of time this is a great listen!

super fun!
I loved this short little drama. it was pretty easy to predict what was going to happen as the story was unfolding but the sound effects and acting was compelling enough to make up for that little fault.

it's pretty terrible
malcolm mcdowell has about 12 lines. a soup of unlikable characters scream, deliver hammy narrative, and occupational sterotypes telegraph what's going to happen next while it happens.

I guess...
This is for people who don’t know anything about mushrooms and fear them. Sort of painful to listen to as a myco nerd.
Also, instead of building any terror the narration kept interjecting, “muahahaha this is scary, bet you are scared muahaha” which was pretty Doofenshmirtz.
Also, CDC sure was QUICK to bomb the city lol.
Skip.

Villain only uses luck and plot armor
If you enjoy stories where it's obvious where the plot is going, but the characters are surprised by every horror cliche in the book.
If you enjoy stories where the villain relies on coincidence and has plot armor that would make any Mary Sue blush.
If you enjoy stories where the narrator interrupts after literally every single scene to only add "this is a deadtime story, isn't it spooky?" to the story.
This is the story for you!
If you are above average intelligence, sadly this isn't the story for you.
